For everyone who’s celebrating Thanksgiving today!

And you read that right – the pattern designer actually calls this pattern sexy! I
don’t know about you but adding “sexy” to the description surely makes me want to
run out and buy this pattern, crochet it up, throw it on and work it in all its sexy glory!

I think that is the most delightful thing i have ever witnessed. I love the crazed look in her eye, the overdone eyeliner, the LEGS FOR STRAPS! HA!
Totally made of win.

I like it too. I am thinking of alterating this to make it into a peacock hat, something actually sexy!
November 22, 2007 at 9:46 pm
Eewwww – gross!
November 22, 2007 at 11:22 pm
Can’t help but ask why, and how….
November 22, 2007 at 11:46 pm
How is sticking your head in a turkey’s rear sexy?
November 23, 2007 at 11:57 am
maybe this is sexy…….to other turkeys!
November 23, 2007 at 2:20 pm
Are there seriously more than one person willing to make that monstrosity?
November 23, 2007 at 3:20 pm
Maybe not sexy, but definitely an awesome design… maybe for attending a holiday parade. I love it!
November 23, 2007 at 5:06 pm
…..MAYBE if she was nakkie, it’d be sexy……ummm, ok NOT!!!
November 23, 2007 at 6:54 pm
ha ha her head is the stuffing.
November 23, 2007 at 9:26 pm
That’s going to be hard to beat.
November 24, 2007 at 3:19 pm
Fabulous, inspired kookiness.
November 26, 2007 at 8:00 pm
Why is she wearing a float from the Macy’s parade on her head????
November 27, 2007 at 3:13 pm

I. am. speechless.
December 21, 2007 at 11:39 pm
that must be the showgirls’ headdress at the Wild Turkey casino
December 22, 2007 at 2:18 am
actually that’s one of my favorites!
I mean, come on… everything else thinks it’s beyond hot when it’s the fugliest crochet ever known to man.
This hat has everything, humor, fugliness, crochet… = sexy!

I’m having images of a lapdancing turkey hat running through my mind. And let me say, it is not a pleasant experience.
January 30, 2008 at 5:48 pm
You can’t tell the heart who to love… this hat is for all the turkey fetishists out there…
February 23, 2008 at 2:18 pm
Even though I laughed out loud for at least two minutes over this one, in the end I have to agree with lolausa: Fabulous, inspired kookiness!!
March 18, 2008 at 6:56 pm
If you want to keep giggling, check out this designer’s other creations on Ravelry. Sexy Turkey Hat is but one of many “just-because-you-CAN-make-it-doesn’t-mean-you-SHOULD” creations.

Oh dear!

Her whole Etsy shop is on the funky/bizarre side. Now, I like funky and bizarre, but some things are better left alone (having said that, I do like her crochet slippers, they are way cool)
July 20, 2008 at 1:35 am
This is, as my dh just said, ex-crochet-ating! (Don’t worry, I’ll whomp him with something in a minute.)
It might be a good gag gift for “WKRP” fans…

This is my favorite entry on this site. Absolute favorite.
August 27, 2008 at 2:52 pm
OMG!!!! you have to be kidding me it looks like she is wearing a hideous lamp shade lol
June 13, 2009 at 11:51 am
In a bizarro-sort of way, it looks as though the turkey has given birth to a lovely (albeit unfortunate) young lady!
July 21, 2009 at 12:24 am
seriously you have to see the rest of her designs…i don’t know if her etsy shop has reopened yet, last time i checked she was taking a break.
December 13, 2009 at 9:42 pm
I. Want. This. pattern.
Its the perfect gift for that awful cow at my work who demands I make her something, cuz i obviously have nothing better to do.
December 24, 2009 at 9:55 pm
Just nasty.
December 26, 2009 at 10:26 pm
I would wear that for Halloween.
December 28, 2009 at 10:55 pm
Oh holy Jesus H. Lennon.
Really, man.
I’ve never seen anything quite this ugly. This makes the Christmas-Tree hat I saw a lady wearing at the clothes store for pretentious Canadians at the local mall last week look sleek and classy. And that hat was something.
Cor, that thing is awful.
I want one.
December 30, 2009 at 7:55 pm
I love that the person wearing the hat looks so proud and happy. I wish I could wear a turkey hat like that and not care if some people think it is bizarre.
I’m sure the designer is in on the the joke herself. If she could read all of these comments she would probably laught at us for getting all excited.
Crochet with a sense of humor, gotta love it!

My daughter just said it would be the perfect headgear for Silly Hat Day at school.
I, too, thought it was an escapee from the Macy’s Parade LOL!!
God Bless,
mik

I need brain bleach for this one. I’ve seen fugly, I’ve seen awful. But now I need Cranium Clorox.
May 28, 2010 at 2:29 am
Reminds me of the scene in the big lebowski with the chicks with the bowling pin headdresses. Lol. I’m supposed to be studying for my exam tomorrow morning but I keep getting distracted by the fuglier-than-sin god-awfullness on this site. Lol
