oh my. one looks like one wrong move and you show your bra to the world. the rest looks like a birthcontrol mechanism. i mean how can you put so much work into something this unflattering? of cause if you are extreamly prudish those could be prom dresses for a daughter of a overly religious familys.
i think the maker shold have stoped crocheting at mid waist to make a bulky ” stay at home” sweater.
I saw these displayed on Ravelry and had an OMG moment… Someone, at some point, should have held an intervention. And to think.. the patterns have been offered for sale.
Modern crocheters sometimes just don’t take the time to learn how fiber and hook choice affect the finished fabric. There is no reason these garments need to be so stiff and boxy. Look at Drew Emborsky’s work…it has flow and drape. It’s just laziness.

They would look better if a finer yarn would be used, especially for the poufy sleeves.

The second one down in the first column would be really nice, and wearable, with smaller sleeves; the waist is not boxy.

I don’t know what’s funnier; the projects or your commentary. I’m enjoying my visit and will be linking back to you in a post this week. Thanks!
