Whenever I make an afghan with a cornucopia of colours, I call it a ‘Scrapghan’. (The name says it all).

I could just pick up a couple of afghans *cough* shawls at the next estate sale and sell them for a couple G. I’ll be RICH, I tell you! FILTHY RICH!

$3500 worth of cheap acrylic in a granny pattern. I understand expensive fibres and intricate designs being turned into expensive hand made products. Not the case, as we see.

I love that she’s photographed wearing these monstrosities over a tank top and shorts! Looks itchy to me! Also, what size hook was used to make the top one? The stitches look HUGE!

when granny got cheap, she crocet only half an afgan, for her less than favorite granchild.
i actualy have a “half blanked thing” to wrap up in. mind you it’s lacy and moncromatic, as well as not acrylic. still i wear it around the house to cover my night dress most of the time.
